Fill out the form on our webpage and you'll be automatically registered for the hackathon! There's no application/selection process.

Admission is free and includes mentors, workshops, resources and a memorable experience.

No prior experience needed! Just come in with enthusiasm and a desire to learn! Setting up your coding environment before the hackathon starts is recommended. If you don't already have a quantum programming environment set up, we will provide resources prior to the Hack-Q-Thon to set that up.

1st place will receive $500, 2nd place will receive $250 and 3rd place will receive free swag. We will also be awarding prizes for special categories.

All the components for your final submission, including your code and presentation deck will be submitted through DevPost. We'll send more information on how to submit your project through devpost later on before the event.

Your project will be judged based on the execution, usefulness, completion, while the pitch will be judged based on presentation and design. Each judge will be an expert in the subject area of your project.

Your team can have as many people as you would like, there are no limits in terms of number of people per team. When you register, you can register with your team or individually without any specified team mates. If you don't have a team when you register, that's ok! We'll have a team formation event before the hackathon starts.

The Q-munity Community Discord will be the center place for all updates/announcements and direct communication with other attendees and the event coordinators of the hackathon. Teams can also use the channels to make team calls during the hackathon. The workshops and judging will be held on zoom. Links will be provided during the event.
